Ved\u00facim katedry (1967\u20131970) bol prof. Ing. Mikul\u00e1\u0161 Matherny, DrSc., v\u00fdznamn\u00e1 osobnos\u0165 v&nbsp;oblasti analytickej ch\u00e9mie na Slovensku, ktor\u00fd sa podie\u013eal na zakladan\u00ed chemick\u00fdch katedier na Pr\u00edrodovedeckej fakulte UPJ\u0160. V roku 1971 bola analytick\u00e1 \u010das\u0165 katedry a jej pracovn\u00edci v\u010dlenen\u00ed do Katedry anorganickej a analytickej ch\u00e9mie na PF UPJ\u0160 a od roku 1981 sa stala s\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou Katedry fyzik\u00e1lnej a analytickej ch\u00e9mie (KFAnCH) PF UPJ\u0160. Neust\u00e1le organiza\u010dn\u00e9 zmeny nepriaznivo ovplyvnili v\u00fdvoj a person\u00e1lne budovanie odboru analytick\u00e1 ch\u00e9mia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Analyticko-chemick\u00e1 \u010das\u0165 KFAnCH zabezpe\u010dovala predn\u00e1\u0161ky a praktick\u00e9 cvi\u010denia z analytickej ch\u00e9mie, in\u0161trument\u00e1lnych met\u00f3d analytickej ch\u00e9mie, organickej anal\u00fdzy, koncentra\u010dno-separa\u010dn\u00fdch met\u00f3d, makromolekulovej ch\u00e9mie, met\u00f3d chemick\u00e9ho v\u00fdskumu a i. pre odbor ch\u00e9mia, biol\u00f3gia a u\u010dite\u013esk\u00e9 kombin\u00e1cie. S\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou pedagogickej pr\u00e1ce bolo aj vedenie diplomov\u00fdch a rigor\u00f3znych pr\u00e1c. V&nbsp;priebehu tohto obdobia na katedre p\u00f4sobili viacer\u00ed odborn\u00edci, ktor\u00ed prispeli k&nbsp;budovaniu odboru analytickej ch\u00e9mie na PF UPJ\u0160: doc. Ing. Viera Szmerekov\u00e1, CSc., RNDr. Pavol Me\u013euch, CSc., Ing. Tatiana G\u00f6rnerov\u00e1, CSc., RNDr. Katar\u00edna Radv\u00e1kov\u00e1, doc. RNDr. Adam Ko\u0161turiak, CSc., RNDr. Ta\u0165\u00e1na Gondov\u00e1, CSc., RNDr. Alexander Hud\u00e1k, CSc., RNDr. A. Hanude\u013e, PhD., RNDr. Katar\u00edna Reiffov\u00e1, Ing. Gabriel Macejko, Ing. Milan Kadle\u010d\u00edk, Ing. J\u00e1n Jaku\u0161ovsk\u00fd, \u013dubica Lohayov\u00e1, Peter Haber a&nbsp;\u010fal\u0161\u00ed. Vedecko-v\u00fdskumn\u00e1 pr\u00e1ca bola zameran\u00e1 na zavedenie a rozvoj chromatografick\u00fdch, elektroforetick\u00fdch a i. separa\u010dn\u00fdch met\u00f3d a ich aplik\u00e1ciu napr. pri \u0161t\u00fadiu kontamin\u00e1cie v\u00f4d, anal\u00fdze vzoriek \u017eivotn\u00e9ho prostredia, \u0161t\u00fadium sorp\u010dn\u00fdch vlastnost\u00ed klatr\u00e1tov (v spolupr\u00e1ci s katedrou anorganickej ch\u00e9mie), interakci\u00ed polym\u00e9rov s povrchovo-akt\u00edvnymi l\u00e1tkami, toxikologick\u00fdch anal\u00fdz, ako aj spektrofotometrick\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadium acidob\u00e1zick\u00fdch rovnov\u00e1h a i. Niektor\u00e9 t\u00e9my boli rie\u0161en\u00e9 v r\u00e1mci r\u00f4znych vedeck\u00fdch projektov (napr. VEGA), ako aj spolupr\u00e1ce s praxou s viacer\u00fdmi pracoviskami v r\u00e1mci university aj mimo nej (\u00dastav s\u00fadneho lek\u00e1rstva LF UPJ\u0160, \u00dastav lie\u010div v Modre a i.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V roku 1998 sa stal ved\u00facim katedry KFACH profesor Karol Fl\u00f3ri\u00e1n, DrSc., v\u00fdznamn\u00fd analytick\u00fd chemik, ktor\u00fd na katedre vytvoril dve oddelenia: Oddelenie fyzik\u00e1lnej ch\u00e9mie (ved\u00faci: profesorka M. G\u00e1lov\u00e1) a Oddelenie analytickej ch\u00e9mie (ved\u00faci: Dr. T. Gondov\u00e1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Z oddelenia analytickej ch\u00e9mie vznikla v roku 2005 prv\u00e1 samostatn\u00e1 Katedra analytickej ch\u00e9mie PF UPJ\u0160. Ved\u00facim katedry sa stal profesor Yaroslav Baze\u013e, DrSc.. Kolekt\u00edv analytick\u00fdch chemikov tak potvrdil, \u017ee katedra je rovnocenn\u00e1 in\u00fdm sk\u00fasenej\u0161\u00edm katedr\u00e1m \u00dastavu chemick\u00fdch vied na PF UPJ\u0160. U\u017e v&nbsp;priebehu rokov 2005\u20132006 z\u00edskala katedra akredit\u00e1ciu pre II. a&nbsp;III. stupe\u0148 \u0161t\u00fadia v&nbsp;odbore Analytick\u00e1 ch\u00e9mia. Nesk\u00f4r jej bolo udelen\u00e9 pr\u00e1vo na habilita\u010dn\u00e9 a&nbsp;inaugura\u010dn\u00e9 konania v&nbsp;odbore. T\u00fdmto sa otvorila cesta pre pr\u00edchod mlad\u00fdch kolegov ako aj zv\u00fd\u0161enie \u00farovne samotn\u00fdch vyu\u010duj\u00facich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Akt\u00edvna \u00fa\u010das\u0165 na Eur\u00f3pskych projektoch Doktorand, Kvark, Sofos, projektoch VEGA, APVV, Vy\u0161ehradsk\u00e9ho Fondu umo\u017enili nielen rie\u0161i\u0165 be\u017en\u00e9 prev\u00e1dzkov\u00e9 probl\u00e9my katedry, ale aj zak\u00fapi\u0165 nov\u00e9 pr\u00edstroje, postupne zrekon\u0161truova\u0165 laborat\u00f3ria a kancel\u00e1rske priestory, \u010d\u00edm sa infra\u0161trukt\u00fara katedry v\u00fdrazn\u00e9 zlep\u0161ila. Cel\u00e9 toto zmodernizovanie by v\u0161ak nebolo mo\u017en\u00e9 bez mor\u00e1lnej a&nbsp;finan\u010dnej podpory vedenia fakulty a&nbsp;\u00fastavu. Na katedre p\u00f4sobia dvaja profesori Yaroslav Bazel, DrSc. (ved\u00faci katedry) a&nbsp;Vasil Andruch, DSc., docenti RNDr. Ta\u0165\u00e1na Gondov\u00e1, CSc., RNDr. Katar\u00edna Reiffov\u00e1, PhD., Ing. Viera Vojtekov\u00e1, PhD., samostatn\u00fd vedeck\u00fd pracovn\u00edk (VKS IIa) RNDr. Jana \u0160andrejov\u00e1, PhD., vedeck\u00ed pracovn\u00edci Andriy Vishnikin,  PhD., Serhij Zaruba, PhD., RNDr. J\u00e1n T\u00f3th, PhD., odborn\u00fd asistent Rastislav Serbin, PhD.  a&nbsp;odborn\u00fd pracovn\u00edk Ing. Lenka Hurajtov\u00e1. Tento t\u00edm \u013eud\u00ed zabezpe\u010duje v\u00fdu\u010dbu predmetov analytick\u00e9ho profilu pre \u0161tudentov bakal\u00e1rskeho stup\u0148a v odbore Ch\u00e9mia na PF UPJ\u0160, ale aj \u0161tudentov in\u00fdch bakal\u00e1rskych odborov, vy\u017eaduj\u00facich vzdelanie v&nbsp;oblasti analytickej ch\u00e9mie (Biol\u00f3gia, Environmentalistika, u\u010dite\u013esk\u00e9 odbory v&nbsp;kombin\u00e1cii s&nbsp;ch\u00e9miou). Absolventi bakal\u00e1rskych \u0161tudijn\u00fdch programov m\u00f4\u017eu nast\u00fapi\u0165 na magistersk\u00fd a&nbsp;n\u00e1sledn\u00e9 na doktorandsk\u00fd. O&nbsp;kvalite a&nbsp;odbornosti \u0161t\u00fadia sved\u010dia na\u0161i samotn\u00ed absolventi, ktor\u00ed maj\u00fa asi naj\u0161ir\u0161ie uplatnenie v laborat\u00f3rnej praxi a p\u00f4sobia na r\u00f4znych pracovn\u00fdch poz\u00edci\u00e1ch na univerzit\u00e1ch i&nbsp;v odbornej praxe, doma \u010di v&nbsp;zahrani\u010d\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ve\u013emi \u00faspe\u0161nou je vedeck\u00e1 \u010dinnos\u0165 katedry, vedeck\u00fd v\u00fdskum podlieha aktu\u00e1lnym trendom.
